Jarrell V. Jordan

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jarrell V. Jordan was born on February 12, 1997, and is an anointed man of God. He was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Jarrell currently holds several positions in the political arena. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jarrell V. Jordan Inc., which oversees the Jarrell V. Jordan Company, the Jarrell V. Jordan Foundation, and Jarrell V. Jordan Responders. 

 

Previously, Mr. Jordan served as the White House HBCU Ambassador and as an HBCU Advisor for the White House HBCU Initiative under the Obama Administration. He is also a member of the FBI Citizens Academy and serves as a Voting Ambassador for the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office. Additionally, he was an Executive Intern and Youth Ambassador to Birmingham Mayor William A. Bell Sr.

Jarrell Jordan has an extensive background in public service, activism, and education. He previously served as an advisor to Hillary Clinton on the Hillary Clinton Millennials Victory Council and as the Student Director for Bernie Sanders at the Atlanta University Center. Additionally, he is the Music Director for both the Spelman College Chapel and the Morehouse College Chapel. Jarrell's experience extends to various government agencies, including the U.S. Intelligence Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Education, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and the United States House of Representatives.

 

As a renowned speaker and change agent, Jarrell has been featured by numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, NPR, MSNBC, News One, Good Morning America, ABC News, Fox 6 News, CBS 42 News, WVTM 13 News, AL.com, The Atlanta Voice, HBCU Digest, and TRT World, for his contributions to public service, activism, education, and social justice.

 

In addition to his advocacy work, Jarrell is also a talented musician and singer, skilled in piano and organ performance, as well as music composition. He has been actively involved in various ministries at different churches and takes pride in serving as a positive role model and mentor for the youth in his community. Jarrell is highly respected by both young and older generations, and his colleagues describe him as “a young man with big ambitions and aspirations.” During his time in Atlanta, he has performed at several churches, believing that education is its own ministry that pleases God.

 

Jarrell attended Birmingham City Schools from kindergarten through the 12th grade and graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2015. He was awarded the prestigious Bill Gates Scholarship that same year and received nearly $2 million in scholarships from various colleges. While at Woodlawn, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for the Woodlawn Academy of Business and Finance and as a Student Executive for the Advisory Board.

 

Currently a senior at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, Jarrell is majoring in Political Science. He was selected as a Martin Luther King Legacy Scholar in 2016 and previously served as the Executive Secretary for the Student Government Association. On campus, he is a leader dedicated to ensuring his peers have the resources they need to succeed. Jarrell holds several leadership certificates, including one from Troy University, a certificate in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Johns Hopkins University, a certificate in Personal Branding from the University of Virginia, and a certificate in Communicating During Global Emergencies from Emory University.

 

In January 2019, Jarrell founded the Jarrell V. Jordan Company in Atlanta, Georgia, which has since helped hundreds of people find their purpose in life. In November 2019, he established the Jarrell V. Jordan Foundation to continue his work through the Importance of Education Initiative, which began with an education tour in 2016 while he was at the White House. In October 2018, he created Prodigy Notable Next (formerly known as PNN). Following the death of Congressman John R. Lewis, Jarrell and two other Birmingham natives founded the Good Trouble Movement.

 

Jarrell has received numerous honors, including letters of achievement from President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Congressman John Lewis, Congressman Sanford Bishop, Governor Kay Ivey, Governor Robert Bentley, Governor Nathan Deal, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, the Birmingham City Council, the Atlanta City Council, Mayor William A. Bell, and many others. He has also been recognized in the Congressional Record.

 

His ultimate goals include obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College, a master’s degree from a leading institution, and a doctorate. Jarrell aspires to become the Mayor of Birmingham and the first African American Governor of the State of Alabama. He lives by the creed: “Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

 

Jarrell's lifelong purpose is to be a global provocateur of excellence for all people. He plans to use his God-given gifts, skills, heart, mind, and resources in service to others, creating a chain reaction of peace, love, happiness, success, and wealth for all to follow.
